It is a great privilege to serve as Headteacher of Oakington Manor Primary where every child is known, valued and encouraged to achieve their very best. Oakington Manor is a happy, inclusive and nurturing community where children feel safe, confident and inspired to learn.
At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to providing a high-quality education within a caring and supportive environment. We believe that every child is unique and full of potential. Our bespoke curriculum has been carefully designed to reflect the needs, interests and aspirations of our pupils and community. Through a broad, balanced and engaging approach to learning, we aim to develop confident learners, creative thinkers and responsible citizens who are well prepared for the future.
We are also proud to offer Forest School opportunities, where children can learn outdoors, develop independence, build resilience and deepen their understanding of the natural world. These experiences are an important part of our approach to developing the whole child.
To help parents and visitors understand our curriculum in more detail, we have created short videos across the website which explain how different subjects are taught and what children learn as they move through the school. I warmly invite you to explore these and see our curriculum in action.
Our dedicated staff work hard to create exciting learning opportunities that challenge and motivate pupils while supporting their wellbeing. We place great importance on strong partnerships with parents and carers, recognising that children achieve the most when school and home work closely together.
We are proud of the warm and welcoming atmosphere that visitors often comment on. Our pupils are kind, respectful and enthusiastic about their learning, and they play an important role in shaping the Oakington Manor community.
Whether you are a prospective parent, a new family joining us, or simply visiting our website to find out more, we hope it gives you a sense of what makes our school such a special place.
If you would like to learn more, please do not hesitate to contact the school office or arrange a visit.
We would be delighted to welcome you.
