We achieved our Investor's in People Gold award in Febraury 2015

Artsmark provides a benchmark for arts provision that encourages schools to showcase the opportunities they offer in art, dance, drama and music. We achieved our Gold status again in October 2014.

This award recognises the excellent provision we have to support the teaching of the basic skills of reading, writing and mathematics. This award is a great tribute to the highly dedicated teachers, teaching assistants and learning support assistants at Oakington. We will be renewing this award in the next year.

We are very proud of this award as it reminds our children just what lengths we will go to, in order to keep them healthy. Good, nourishing freshly cooked food is served daily in our kitchen.
This award recognises the way we raise awareness about environmental issues as well as the practical steps we take such as recycling, low consumption IT equipment, solar and wind power in the woodland area, triple glazing in the New Build, and LED lighting throughout the school.
