Welcome to our website

There are lots of wonderful and exciting things happening at our school and this website will help give you a sense of who we are and what we do.

Ethos, Vision and Values

A vision has to be shared and nurtured, it has to incorporate all aspects of the community in which we live and, above all, it has to be built on dreams but also be realistic and achievable. My vision is clear as to the high standards of education that I demand for the pupils of Oakington Manor. Children only get one chance at education...

"No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted" Aesop. This week is Children's Mental Health Week #spreadalittlekindness. This week is also Safer Internet Week at Oakington. There is a competition for creating the best internet safety super hero as well as lessons to equip your child with how to be safe online. Ask your children about what they use the internet for, ask how they keep safe.

Oakington will be supporting Place2be's Children's Mental Health Week by going even further with our Kindess; remembering those children who struggle with mental health.

The Daily Mile is an iniative designed to increase physical activity and tackle obesity. At Oakington, Key Stage 2 willl either run, jog or walk for 15 minutes every day and a 4 lap challenge will be given to Key Stage 1 every day.

As a school we are really excited about this new initiative and we are looking forward to the benefits it will bring to your child/children. You can find out more about how it works by visiting
