At Oakington we have been having workshops with Super hero Dot.Com! As well as having a special esafety assembly and learning about how to be esafe in class!

The nursery and parents taking part in the knowledge and understanding workshop
The children made slime, saw volcano explode, made lava lamps, marbling ink on paper, made giant bubbles, making shapes with spaghetti and mashmallows.
Anti Bullying Training Day
Oakington Manor Primary School had the honour of hosting an anti-bullying training programme on Wednesday 21st March 2018 (The Diana Award Anti-Bullying Campaign). Overall, 119 students and 17 staff members from a range of schools across London gathered together to undertake training aimed at empowering pupils to tackle bullying head on. So, watch this space for further information about this exciting initiative!
Nursery Visit Care Home
We arrived and were greeted by Jalpa the site Manager and Margaret the receptionist.
They took us to the dining area where the children sang some nursery rhymes such as Twinkle, Twinkle, Alphabet song, ring a ring a roses, incy wincy spider etc and then we drank juice and ate biscuits together with them.
NSPCC Visit Oakington For Safety Week
Children across the school had fun learning about how to keep safe and what to do to keep safe thanks to the NSPCC. If they have any trouble they learnt to call Child Line on 0800 1111
